Be You
My tutorials require a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro!
Supplies Needed: *Paint Shop Pro *"Be You" PTU scrap kit collab by the designers of Pimp My Tags with Scraps which is available for purchase HERE. Visit their blog HERE *Font of Choice, I used 2Peas Commercial Break *Tube of choice. I used the awesome artwork of Ismael Rac, which can be purchased at AMI. Please do not use the same tube without the proper license. Note: Some of my Rac tubes are from MPT and some are from AMI. I have a proper license for both but a lot of my Rac tubes from MPT were received as payment for working as a forum moderator at MPT when they opened the forum. Jo from MPT told me that she did not keep any records of what tubes she sent me so I was not able to get the Rac license exchange from AMI. So you will notice on my site that some of my Rac tubes will use an MPT license and some will use an AMI license.
Let's Begin-- Open a new 600 X 600 white canvas. Open frame 4 from Cora's part of the kit and then c/p it onto your canvas. Click inside each of the openings of the frame with your magic wand while holding down your shift key. Go to selections-modify-expand by 5, open a paper of choice from the kit, c/p it onto your canvas, selections-invert, hit your delete key. Selections-select none. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Open your tube of choice in PSP, c/p it onto your canvas, resize as needed, position where you want it. Duplicate the tube and move the original below the frame layer. Click on the copy of your tube that is on top and use your eraser tool to erase the bottom of the tube so that it looks like it's behind the frame. Click on the copy and erase any parts of the tube that are sticking out from underneath the frame. Add a drop shadow to the top tube and the frame. Open one of the round tag backs from Sarah's part of the kit, click on your background layer then c/p the tag back onto your canvas. Open frame 5 from Cora's part of the kit. C/P it onto your canvas and drag the layer down below everything else but on top of the background. Position as needed, see my tag for reference. Open a few of the flowers from the kit and use them on your tag. Resize, add drop shadows and position where you want. See my tag for reference. Add any other elements that you wish from the kit. There are tons of things to choose from in this kit. Crop and resize as needed. Add your name and copyright information. Save as jpg!
